How can I effectivley lose quick weight for an occation three weeks away?

I really want to lose some swift weight for my birthday which is about three weeks away. I’m staying away from carbs, intake fruits and veggies and Boca Burgers, drinking diet pop and a lot of water and going on the treadmill for about 20 minutes a day. Is there anything else I could do and how much weight could I lose by February 8th if I do this?

Figure out how many calories you need to stay where you are right now, then cut 500-1000 from that. That’s all you can have every day. Space this out between 4-6 meals, eating every 3-4 hours. You can cheat one meal a week, but only one meal and be sure to really cheat when you do or you’ll try to make up for it with other meals. Make a calorie sheet and write down everything, and I mean EVERYTHING, you eat or drink that has calories. Basically, everything except water. Make sure it adds up to whatever number you got earlier. Be sure to recalculate every few weeks as you lose weight.
Start running, swimming, biking, etc. Whatever you pick, do it 3-6x a week. Work up to 30+ minutes straight and don’t wuss out on the intensity.
If you can go to a gym, start a good weight training program as well. Every kilo of muscle you gain will burn another ~75 Calories a day, which really adds up. I’m not typing out an entire weight training program, as I can make a good $100-500 off that.
Just be determined and have a strong positive attitude towards exercise. I guess change you eating habit and exercise regularly..

Do 20min on the treadmill, rest and do another 20min later. Studies show if a routine is broken up this way- more weight loss occurs. You could lose about 12-15lbs by then.
When you say you are staying away from carbs thats not accurate because you listed foods with carbs. What you probably meant to say is you are staying away from simple carbs like pasta, bread, white rice potato and sugar. If thats the case then you are on the right track. You really dont have to eat bocca burgers to stay low carb. Chicken, ham, steak, turkey, fish all are very low carb. You might consult the phase 1 list at to see what all you can eat on a low carb diet. You need to probably increase the treadmill time as your stamina increases to burn more fat. Look into varying your speed and intensity which is called High Intensity Interval Training. Its the number 1 fat burner.
I think you have taken the right approach. You could also cut down your meals by half. How much weight you loose depends totally on how much effort you put into it. Remember everyone is different so diets affect us in different ways. =)
